How to Install a Water Heater 🔧

Remove the historic water heater by turning off all valves and draining the water.

Place the new heater on top of blocks and align it with the pipes.
3
Attach a new temperature and strain alleviation valve.
4
Solder new copper adapters to the water consumption on pinnacle of the heater.
5
Attach the water strains to the pinnacle of the heater.
6
Reattach the vent shaft over the draft hood on top of the heater.
7
Reconnect the gas line to the fuel valve.
8
Fill the new tank with water and check it for leaks by way of turning on a faucet.
9
Light the pilot light per the heater's guidelines and set it to 120 °F (49 °C).
